The Yukon Tourism Career Connection Support Service helps connect individuals at various stages of their tourism careers with local tourism employers. The initiative strengthens the Yukon’s tourism workforce by supporting three groups.
Three streams
Local high school students
For Yukon youth in the early stages of their careers who want to gain experience or explore pathways in tourism. This stream introduces future talent to the industry.
Post-secondary students and recent graduates
For students across Canada enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a tourism or hospitality-related post-secondary program. This stream helps emerging professionals gain Yukon-based experience through short-term placements such as co-ops and internships, or longer-term opportunities.
Job seekers and tourism professionals
For experienced tourism professionals residing in Canada with experience in TIA Yukon’s Tourism Sector Categories and related NOC-based tourism occupations, who want to build long-term tourism careers in the Yukon.
How it works

- TIA Yukon reviews your profile. Once approved, it is added to the tourism talent pool that TIA Yukon member businesses can access.
- If a business is interested, they will contact you directly to discuss opportunities.
